Greetings! My name is Raylene Hill, R.Ac., RMT. I am the founder of the new health and wellness clinic in the Fleming Building, Victoria Place Holistic.
I have been a healthcare practitioner for more than fifteen years. Originally trained as a massage therapist, my focus then moved to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
At Victoria Place Holistic I blend eastern and western medicine. Certified in Japanese non-insertion Acupuncture this technique is wonderful for needle phobic clients or very weak clients (including chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy). Contact needling (non-insertion acupuncture) uses a special silver tool (teishin) on the skin that creates a negative polarization effect on nerve bundles at the acupressure point regulating it without risk of infection. Integration of this gentle style with massage therapy techniques like fascia work, cranial sacral, stretching and Swedish massage allows me to gently and effectively help facilitate change with musculoskeletal issues like low back pain, capsulitis, sciatica or neck pain.

As a Registered Acupuncturist I also incorporate auricular, scalp and abdominal microsystems with typical filiform needles in treatments. These added techniques are especially important for increasing success in treatments for digestion, gynaecological issues or IVF support, neurological conditions such as Parkinson treatments or stroke rehab and mental emotional or addiction support treatments.
I find the most successful clients have a team of trusted RHP’s: Doctors, Nurses, Councillors, Chiropractors and/or Physiotherapists that they rely on regularly.
