We are firm believers in giving back. Since our inception, almost four decades ago, we have been working hard to support our investment in the community we love so much. We are a family-run business and we have a firm understanding of the important work our clients, volunteer organizations and our service groups do to build our community from the ground up.
Linmac Inc. has been a member of the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce since 1988 and have beem proud supporters of many community events and organizations including:
In 2012 we celebrated our 25th anniversary, Linmac Inc. by providing two permanent pavilions at the YMCA Northumberland – Camp Tiki grounds. The pavilions were designed to keep children safe from the sun and dry from the rain, and offer a wonderful gathering place for programs and activities.
“The pavilions are named Lawson Hall and Stanley Hall, in honour of six generations of the Macklin family, who have been part of our community since the early-1800s. We are so fortunate to live in a very generous community where people truly care about the health and life of the families and children who live here. Thanks to our generous donors and our YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, we are able to enhance and improve our YMCA Summer Day Camp Tiki, and provide valuable learning and growth opportunities for children and access to children who would not financially be able to participate in camp programs.”
